Join us in restoring the health of the Sammamish River Regional Trail.

The Sammamish River Trail runs 10.1 miles, from Bothell to Marymoor Park in Redmond, along the Sammamish River. It is part of the Locks to Lakes Corridor.

IMPORTANT: Any minors (people under the age of 18) attending the event without their parent or legal guardian must bring a signed Youth Waiver to the event and give to staff before event in order to participate. Download the Youth Waiver form here: https://kingcounty.gov/parksyouthwaiverform

Purpose:

Connect to and make a difference in the health of your local park while learning about the environment.

Role:

Year-round projects often include removal of monoculture forming and introduced plant species that can reduce plant diversity, spreading woodchip mulch, weeding previously planted sites, and other park improvement projects (e.g., litter removal). Seasonally (October through February), tree and shrub planting may also occur.
