Whale Scout Helpin’ Out Restoration Event
Description
Whale Scout will be hosting a Helpin’ Out habitat restoration and native planting event on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10am to 1pm at the Former Wayne Golf Course, located at 16721 96th Ave NE, Bothell, WA 98011. Volunteers will assist with planting native trees and shrubs to help restore local habitat and support salmon ecosystems.
Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and those under 18 usually need a parent/guardian signed release form. Volunteers should wear warm, comfortable clothing appropriate for outdoor work, including long pants, long sleeves, closed-toed shoes, and waterproof layers if rain is possible. Please bring a reusable water bottle. All necessary tools, gloves, and light snacks will be provided. A confirmation email will be sent to all volunteers 2-3 days prior to the event.
