Food Bank Farm Harvest: Flood Clean-Up
Description
The historic flood of December, 2025 covered our greenhouses and equipment with 10 feet of swiftly flowing water. The current carried tons of debris that destroyed several greenhouses and scattered thousands of items. Many floating things were carried off and we will never find them. Our fence lines caught staggering amounts of plastic and fabric too. All of this needs to go into a dumpster.
Anyone can help. Children under parent's supervision are welcome and encouraged. We sign lots of service hour forms for students.
Dress for the weather. Wear gloves.
