Lynnwood Food Bank

Description

If you are looking to serve your community, make a some new friends, or even increase your muscle mass, you need to check us out!

We are always looking for fun people to join us in serving our community.  We work hard at distributing food on Wednesday afternoons and Fridays. For high school students: Volunteering is most needed during distribution on Wednesdays and Fridays. We do not have minimum shift requirements and are flexible with your schedule. Because we want to keep our students safe, we require that two adults be present at all times when youth are volunteering.

IMPORTANT: To volunteer, please fill out the respective Volunteer Application or Volunteer Application for Minors.

As always, you must sign up on the NHS spreadsheet as well!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please DO NOT sign up to volunteer at any in-person events if you are sick or believe that you have any symptoms of COVID-19. We would never want to put our members at risk in any way, and there are plenty of virtual or at-home ways to earn hours this semester. If you choose to volunteer in-person, make sure you follow all state and county coronavirus guidelines and stay safe when volunteering!

Additionally, please do NOT skip class to attend events. If an event takes place during school hours, only volunteer if you're in Running Start/have an alternative schedule that doesn't cause you to skip class!
