NJHS Induction Ceremony
Description
WE NEED 10 volunteers to help grow the future of NHS!
Help Heatherwood middle school's National Junior Honors Society with their induction ceremoney on May 20th. The NJHS Induction Ceremony is a formal event to recognize 7th and 8th grade NJHS students who have completed service hours and maintained over a 3.5 GPA. The ceremony will take place in the lower gym.
They need volunteers to assist with directing students and families, lining students up before the ceremony, passing out name cards, handing out cookies and water.
This is Heatherwood's first year this is a big ceremony and we are expecting over 200 students their families, so they need a lot of help!

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please DO NOT sign up to volunteer at any in-person events if you are sick or believe that you have any symptoms of COVID-19. We would never want to put our members at risk in any way, and there are plenty of virtual or at-home ways to earn hours this semester. If you choose to volunteer in-person, make sure you follow all state and county coronavirus guidelines and stay safe when volunteering!

Additionally, please do NOT skip class to attend events. If an event takes place during school hours, only volunteer if you're in Running Start/have an alternative schedule that doesn't cause you to skip class!
