Description
Donate NEW blankets and toys to Cancer Kids First JHS’s Holiday Toy & Blanket Drive!
All donations will be taken by CKF officers to Seattle Children’s Hospital to be donated to pediatric cancer patients. Blankets are the most in need item!
To donate, drop off items in Mrs. Vaught’s room, C143, from 12/3/25 to 12/12/25. Make sure to take a picture of your donation and send it to jhshonorsociety@gmail.com for proof so you can receive your NHS hours!
Receive 1 hour for every new blanket donated
Receive 0.5 hours for every new toy donated
NOTE: You may only get up to 2 hours from donations for the semester as per NHS requirements

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please DO NOT sign up to volunteer at any in-person events if you are sick or believe that you have any symptoms of COVID-19. We would never want to put our members at risk in any way, and there are plenty of virtual or at-home ways to earn hours this semester. If you choose to volunteer in-person, make sure you follow all state and county coronavirus guidelines and stay safe when volunteering!
Additionally, please do NOT skip class to attend events. If an event takes place during school hours, only volunteer if you're in Running Start/have an alternative schedule that doesn't cause you to skip class!
