Thank you for being an important part of this special event! Our volunteers will maintain a safe and smooth visit for all Gingerbread Village guests by guiding them through the amazing display and handing out candy canes at the Sheraton Grand Seattle (1400 6th Avenue Seattle, WA 98101). More information found at gingerbreadvillage.org. Please review the volunteer instructions linked below BEFORE your shift. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your shift begins. Upon arrival, check in at the Bell Desk located in the main lobby of the Sheraton Grand Seattle. Please identify yourself as a JDRF Gingerbread Village Volunteer and ask to be directed to the Eagle Boardroom, which is the volunteer room. Please review the Volunteer Waiver.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please DO NOT sign up to volunteer at any in-person events if you are sick or believe that you have any symptoms of COVID-19. We would never want to put our members at risk in any way, and there are plenty of virtual or at-home ways to earn hours this semester. If you choose to volunteer in-person, make sure you follow all state and county coronavirus guidelines and stay safe when volunteering!

Additionally, please do NOT skip class to attend events. If an event takes place during school hours, only volunteer if you're in Running Start/have an alternative schedule that doesn't cause you to skip class!
