December Holiday Sale

On 12/10, PR & Promotion will be meeting at 502 Main St, Edmonds, WA 98020.

On 12/17, "PR & Promotion" will be meeting at TBA location. 


EVERY "Storefront & Sales" shift will start at the main location and volunteers will be prompted with a neighborhood location to be dropped off at.


12/8-12/11: Shifts from 5 to 7 PM

12/12: Shift from 2 to 5 PM

12/15-12/18: Shift from 4 to 7 PM

12/19: Shift from 2 to 6 PM

12/20: Shift from 10 AM to 4 PM

This event is a personal, non-profit charity baking business' 5th-annual Holiday Sale from an NHS member. All proceeds go to Cocoon House, an Everett-based teen homeless shelter. We've been partnered with JHS Key Club for volunteers for the last 2 years and would like to broaden our scope. 


Volunteers MUST use linked Signup Genius, to see availability of shifts, and complete the linked volunteer application form. ROLES:


  • Kitchen Assistant

Dress Code: 

Wear appropriate clothes for the kitchen that can get dirty

Wear long hair up and tidy

Bring a clean Apron (extra aprons can be provided).

Show proof of obtaining a Food Handler’s License from https://www.foodworkercard.wa.gov (CAN BE OBTAINED DURING FIRST VOLUNTEER SHIFT)


  • Sales & Storefront

Transportation is required. Meet for 10-15 Minutes at the Main Kitchen and then commute to a neighborhood location to sell



  • PR & Promotion

On 12/10 & 12/17, meet at the area specified on the shift description in the sign-up genius

Not the main kitchen!! Look for an email that specifies more details. Location will be indicated on this document too!!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please DO NOT sign up to volunteer at any in-person events if you are sick or believe that you have any symptoms of COVID-19. We would never want to put our members at risk in any way, and there are plenty of virtual or at-home ways to earn hours this semester. If you choose to volunteer in-person, make sure you follow all state and county coronavirus guidelines and stay safe when volunteering!

Additionally, please do NOT skip class to attend events. If an event takes place during school hours, only volunteer if you're in Running Start/have an alternative schedule that doesn't cause you to skip class!
